Even in "nicer" hotels it seems to ...Yes! Even in "nicer" hotels it seems to often be a problem. But right now I'm in a hotel in China which has a great 4 powerpoints in easy reach from the desk - with the added bonus that Australian power cords plug straight in to powerpoints in China without any type of adapter.
